Recent Changes

The police stop blacks at a rate that are much higher than whites. In New York City, 80% of the NYPD stops were of blacks and Latinos, when whites were stopped, only 8%.The same is true most other places as well. In a California study, the ACLU found blacks are three times more likely to be stopped than whites. In a courtroom blacks wait for a public defender longer than whites would have to. Also blacks are more likely accused guilty even when they are innocent. Blacks are also more likely to wait for trials than whites do.

But it does is so many places, especially in the criminal justice system. I think that racism shouldn’t be around anymore and everyone should be treated equal.
